Women are like Pears...

Women are like pears, sweet outside and sour inside. The man eating the pear does not know the heart is sour, because he throws the heart away at last, so men never understand a woman’s heart.

Man is like onions, if you want to see the hearts of men, you need to peel it layer by layer! Through the process of stripping you will continue to shed tears, peeling onions to the end you know there is no heart.

(This is from a Chinese forum. I found it kind of cool.)

Dance with me, Love with me, Pray with me.

This will be an update from my last post...  a joyful update =]

Her name is Noi Na, a twenty-four year old girl whose heart does not easily give up. She's been fighting lung cancer with a brave heart for over 5 months. The cancer has spread to the brain and now the bone. At the moment, with fever every once in a while, plus she cannot eat, I won't say she's doing real good. Imagine the condition like that, I'm really impressed to see her smiling and talking to me like normal old friends.

No, we're not old friends. Actually, I heard of her sickness from my friend in November last year. Noi Na is my high school friend's sister. God spoke to me in a prayer meeting to visit her and share with her the Hope of life. I did once I came back to Bangkok. Just in time. As the next morning she and her brother were heading back to Khonkaen.

I just got a chance to go to the town this weekend. Mainly I wanted to see her and talked to her more of the Hope and the healing.

On saturday, I went visit her. Her brother(my friend) was there, her dad, her step-mom, her grandma and another guest. It was pretty packed. (She is sharing the room at the hospital with 2 other patients.) That one day, I gave her a postcard from Italy. Manu, my beautiful Italian friend and her friends have been praying and fasting for Noi Na. She was really happy Manu!!! I also got her the best Lindt chocolate I personally rank it the best and a real encouraging book,- Heaven is for real. The book is about a four-year-old who survived a Rupture appendix surgery when it looked like there was no hope. He entered heaven and began talking about it. Before I gave her, I read the book just to tell her briefly, but I ended up reading the whole book and it for real encouraged me so much.

That one day, my friend, Isaac came visit too. He prayed for her and shared the Hope with her. I'm so glad he came. And I heard Noi Na said the one night a nurse has also prayed for her and told her to pray to God. Even though, we did not get to talk so much on saturday as I said there were quite many people. Anyhow, I know she felt the love.

I came back again on Monday (with a feeling that my mission will not be accomplished until I know she will be going to heaven). Heard from my friend the girl has been having fevers. She threw up a couple of times while talking to me that morning. She was really tired and wanted to sleep all the time. I was so scared she wouldn't be able to stay awake and talk to me as much as I wanted. However, we had a good conversation of life after death and heaven. I told her that Jesus is the only way to the Father. I asked her if she believes that Jesus is God and if she wants to be in heaven with Jesus. and she said YES! I led her in prayer to welcome Jesus into her heart and she DID. Praise the Lord!!!!!! Jesus is her Hope in this life and the life to come. I wanted to dance with the angels in heaven!

I would like you to continue praying for Noi Na. Pray for LIFE! Pray for miracles and healing. Pray for her brother, my friend, Biaw, too. I have talked to him and shared more while Noi Na was sleeping. He is really open and he agreed in the things I share. ( I remember he came with me to church once years ago). These two people are just sweet. I have no words to explain how much I love them. Please pray that God will continue working in his heart and in Noi Na's. That their lives will be abundant now on earth and heaven.

Thank you for love and prayer for these strangers, God's beloved children. We call and He listens. Keep knocking and it will be opened!

I love you my friends, and I am so thankful for having friends who pray with me, love the people I love.....

Pear

Prayer Request...

You know that my heart can't handle it so well...

My friend just passed away from cancer last week and I had no chance to even know that she was sick! There's a burmese lady whom I met while visiting a friend just passed away a few days ago, i'm glad she was saved though. and.... I went visited a relative who's laying sick from cancer just today. The enemy is taking away so many precious people....so many... and there is this one girl...

Her name is Noi Na. She is my age, 23. A sister of a friend of mine from high school. I learned that she had lung cancer at stage 3 while I was away in Chiangmai a couple months ago. I felt at the prayer meeting that I had to go see her. Once I got back, I gave the friend a call and he said they were leaving for home in 2 days. I hurried there the next day to visit. I gave her chocolate, shared the gospel and prayed for her. It was lovely. I really love her from that one time.

Oh people, she was lovely and really sweet. She was doing pretty good that one day. She listened and seemed to be pretty open to the gospel. Too bad they had to leave the next day. They were to come back and would let me know.

It has been almost a month and they are not back yet. So I texted the friend to see how they're doing last night and found out today that she's doing pretty bad. She had convulsion and was admitted to the hospital immediately. The cancer got to her brain and it's getting big. The doctor offered her now the radiation. She still can talk and eat. However, it does not seem good.

I am planning to go to the town next month ( that's where my grandparents live), and I hope she still got time for me.

Would you pray for the girl and pray for less pain and for LIFE? Eternal life and perfectly healthy body...

I believe in Jesus, and the power in His holy name. I believe in the prayer of the saints. Please pray for her and the family.

His,
Pear
